Professor Kalymon obtained a B.Sc. (Honours) from the University of Toronto and then completed a Ph.D. at Yale University. Prior to joining Ivey in 1999, he held positions at the management schools of the University of California, Los Angeles, Harvard University and the University of Toronto. He has held visiting appointments at ESCP in Paris, Johannes Kepler University in Austria. He has acted as Advisory Dean at Kyiv Mohyla Business School in Kyiv Ukraine and has lectured extensively in Kyiv over the past 20 years.
His publications include several books and over one hundred other publications including articles in academic journals, books, conference proceedings and technical reports. He has provided financial expert witness testimony at numerous regulatory hearings in Canada and the US and has acted as a consultant for a wide range of clients. He has served on the Governing Council of the University of Toronto and on the boards of a number of corporations.
