Borys Mykhaylets is a professional strategist with experience in developing and implementing communication programs. He has developed website of the League of Ukrainian Canadians by implementing a pro-active communication program, as well as assisted in the development of the Holodomor Education website by introducing innovative methods of furthering communication capability. His professional experience includes both the non-profit and financial sectors.
Borys has a long history of volunteer involvement in the Ukrainian Canadian community since his arrival from Ukraine. Over the past 6 years, he has held leadership positions with the National Executive of the League of Ukrainian Canadians (LUC), and is currently the President of LUC – Toronto. Borys is also the general manager of the St. Mary’s (Toronto) Credit Union, where he has used innovative methods to develop and expand the credit union’s services, as well as create online banking and bill payments.
