One of the newest members of the Canadian Ukraine Foundation, Roman Jaworsky, joined the Foundation’s Board in 2007 as its Treasurer. Roman’s background consists of a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Degree from the University of Manitoba, followed by the completion of his Certified Management Accounting professional designation in 2002. In 2004, Roman was hired as the Manager of Finance for North Winnipeg Credit Union and is currently the Interim CEO.
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Roman is an active member in the Ukrainian community volunteering a majority of his time as Youth Coordinator of his church. Roman also sits on various executive groups and committees which include the Council of Ukrainian Credit Unions of Canada, Millennium Educational Fund, Canon Luhovy Assembly (K of C) and the Melos Folk Ensemble.
