School Poster of Historically Important Ukrainian Figures

Production and free distribution to schools in Ukraine of very high quality sets of posters, based on original paintings and descriptions of major Ukrainian historical figures from ancient to modern times. They include over 30 figures such as: Nestor Litopysets, Kniazi Volodymyr and Ol’ha, Bohdan Khmelnytskyj, Kniaz’ Ostroz’kyj, Symon Petliura, Taras Shevchenko. The objective is to raise the awareness of Ukrainian school children regarding the major contributions of these figures to Ukrainian history, literature and politics. This is one aspect of CUF’s mandate. The posters are an initiative by Mr. Oleksandr Krawec of Dnipropetrovsk.
