CUF meets OSCE counterparts
Kyiv - The leadership of the Canada Ukraine Foundation’s Election Mission, organized in association with the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, met with its counterparts from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe in Kyiv on Monday.
CUF Mission Head Bohdan Onyschuk and Chief Observer Yarema Bachynsky met with Ambassador Heidi Tagliavini, Head of OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission and Harald Jepsen, Deputy Head of Mission.
“It was a very fruitful meeting,” Onyschuk said. “We discussed their approach and our approach to election observation. Ambassador Tagliavini had a lot of good insights into the election dynamics following the first round.”
The mission heads exchanged phone numbers and pledges to stay in close touch as Election Day approaches.
