The World Health Organization (WHO) has released information about the A/H1N1 Pandemic in Ukraine (Download).

INFORMATION from the Ukrainian Authorities:
Recently the Ukrainian Government issued a series of resolutions responding to the A/H1N1 pandemic in Ukraine aimed at elimination of the spread of the flu. On Friday, October 30th the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted Resolution #1152 which introduces a quarantine for three weeks the following oblasts of Ukraine: Vinnytska, Volynska, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivska, Lvivska, Rivnenska, Ternopylska, Khmelnytska and Chernivetska highlighting that they are the worst impacted regions to date.
All recommendations and instructions from the Ministry of Healthcare are obligatory for all medical institutions - for public as well as for private. Also, according to the resolution all education institutions in Ukraine should be put in quarantine and closed for the next three weeks. The Resolution also gives a list of instructions to the different ministries and state authorities regarding the measures should be taken to prevent an escalation of the A/H1N1 pandemic.

Also, on October 30th the Cabinet of Ministries of Ukraine issued Regulation #1294 on the voluntary contributions and humanitarian aid in Ukraine in light of A/H1N1 flu epidemic.
