An Evening with Margaret Atwood, Emceed by Richard Ouzounian
We are one month away from the Canada-Ukraine Foundation’s (CUF) 30th Anniversary Gala, which will bring together donors, partners, and friends for an evening of reflection and recommitment at Arcadian Court in Toronto.
The event will feature a cocktail reception, dinner, music—and at its heart, a conversation with one of the country’s most respected literary voices and advocates for Ukraine, acclaimed Canadian author Margaret Atwood. The discussion will be moderated by the Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine, Natalka Cmoc, for an intimate conversation on shared values, power, and identity themes that resonate deeply at this pivotal moment in history.
This is not a retrospective. It is a recommitment. This milestone event also carries a humanitarian mission to raise funds to support CUF’s essential work in Ukraine that lies ahead.
The evening will be graciously facilitated by the event’s Emcee Richard Ouzounian, a Canadian journalist and former chief theatre critic for the Toronto Star.
